One they can’t solve though. It’s down to the merchant if they want to accept Monzo or not.

Can they tell what card it is if you’re paying via Google/Apple Pay (as these systems present their own card numbers)?
Starlings helpful message to me regarding InstaVolt:
I’m really sorry to hear about this. If they have blocked payments from Starling you will need to use an alternative payment method as we cannot change what payments a merchant chooses to accept.

Something more like:
“We are sorry to hear that. We will contact Instavolt to enquire as to the reasons for this decision and work with them to resume acceptance of Starling cards.”
Something to show that they will do something against such an unfair practice.

They most likely are doing this but, with it being fairly new news, it probably hasn’t filtered down to first-level CS.
Get a Electroverse card, I’ll put my referral code in the referrals thread (which I can’t find so it’s here) but then you can continue paying with whatever bank account you want

Sadly Electroverse doesn’t work with GRIDSERVE. Still a useful thing to have though.
True, but works with Instavolt, Ionity and Apple Green, and I always find Gridserve chargers a bit meh
To be honest I have a subscription with Polestar Charge (£12per month), and get 30% of Instavolt, Ionity, MFG, Fastned and Sainsburys and fogrot to Add AppleGreen
So much cheaper than Electroverse which I love to bits, but much easier…
Is that only open to Polestar customers only?
Polestar Charge requires your VIN Number. but you can use Plugsurfing which has a £6.90 sub for 20% off at ionity, Instavolt, Osprey and Fuuse
