It’s would be good if you good lock a pot and all the round up money went into that pot and at the end of a set time up to 3 years you could access it
You can lock pots, but you can just as easy unlock them.
Monzo isn’t going to entertain fully locked pots again because the cost to manage those is unbearable and unnecessary when people should just learn self control.

You can already do this. I just checked and you can lock a pot for upto 50 years.
You can also enable roundups on those pots.
You can also “hide” a pot to remove it from view.
If you want to access the funds in a locked pot before the date you set, you have to archive it, which moves all the money back into your main account.
(This applies to both regular and savings pots)

Or seek help for them, you can’t ask the bank to control your money.
Speak to your family and friends if you’re struggling, and be sure it’s someone you trust.

For some background, Monzo did allow you to fully lock pots in the past but the increased customer service burden from people changing their mind/wanting their money now became too much.
