The current £1,000 maximum refers to new applications - ie. to customers who want to increase their overdraft limit.
They won’t as long as you don’t try to tinker with the overdraft limit or cancel and try to reapply. Basically don’t do anything that would make them reassess your eligibility
Just saying as there were people who turned off their overdrafts for “fun” and came here shocked when they were no longer eligible
