This is the old app. Bank of Scotland hasn’t updated. There are a few other green elements on the home screen as well above the accounts.

On the actual live, released app? Surely not.

Not much green, but the home icons and lines above the accounts are definitely green.

To be fair, there is some of that green on the BoS website. It’s clearly on-brand.

Coding takes a very long time.

True. And I think it looks nice to be fair. There is such a thing as too much blue.

As does testing. Unless you are HSBC, of course.

As someone who has spent years writing code, I would say it’s the stages before coding that take the time. Design, requirements gathering etc

I would have thought they would just reuse what they have for Lloyds and change the colours, graphics and icons. You’d be nuts to write completely separate apps for each of different brands.

I think they would just be better to merge things into one app.

Another day, another reason I’m glad I didn’t bother moving to Lloyds. In the two days that I considered using it I had more technical issues than two years elsewhere.

Basically got a text saying my account was overdrawn but it’s not even my account and it isn’t. That was the CS response.

Also, do they not teach English in Schools, I don’t expect a lot from banks but I do expect professionalism

Don’t Lloyds outsource their customer support?

So during their 3 hours of Chaos the other day. I got overdrawn for some reason and after explaining this to CS they have completely removed my overdraft. Like my account does not have a overdraft anymore.

I am going to speak to them again today and ask for my overdraft back and where in the last conversation I had with them to “remove my overdraft completely”

I feel a complaint coming along!

Well this got interesting. Despite the chat agent saying it was an error something didn’t feel right so I called, to be told possibly someone had used my number which also didn’t sound right so I called in again to be told none of that was correct - and that I do have two profiles and two accounts and had a whole £2 to pay in the overdraft for Club Lloyds despite the fact I was told the account was closed and I can’t use it?

What the actual…

Yeah, Branches for me don’t work. There are three, none of which open at Weekends and all of which are only open for a few hours a day. So I will have to call really.
