You only need a current account for an adult.

my BoS current account was used so little that they didnā€™t send me a new debit card last time it expired, so thereā€™s no way to use any of the offers.

Yeah cards have to be used at least once in the three months before expiry at LBG.

You can order a new one over the phone I believe.

Same at my local Morrisons. The Asda used to have two Barclays ATMs, but theyā€™ve recently been replaced with Lloyds machines.
