Lloyds Banking Group Chat šŸŽ

The pots only came out a few months ago, give them another 3-6 months to actually make them useful :joy:

I’m waiting for it for the direct debits myself. Once Zopa is only Ā£150 3% there’s no point keeping all of my DDs there

No Ultra extension offered to me. I’ve been using it for pretty much everything for the last year. Had the reminder email 3 weeks ago to say the rate would be dropping to 0.25% next week.

Are you a Premier customer?

likewise. Ah well, I’ll just cane the 3% cashback on travel on the Santander card instead.

Wonder why I’ve had no email to say the rate would be dropping next week then.

Nope at the moment pots is just money you’ve set aside without interest. I use it when I get paid to put in my credit card bill, the move it back to pay

Your letter may be in the post.

I’ve just checked and it seems like my Ultra was opened exactly a year ago - I’ve had no comms about rate reducing or being extended though I have unticked all marketing bumpf.

Is there somewhere in the app that tells you the promo rate end date? I’m sure cashback to date also used to be shown on the statements / card section but maybe I imagined that. Most of my spend is on Amex but have still done fairly well from Ultra cashback, so maybe they don’t want me back.

I asked the AI bot on the Lloyds app ā€œwhat’s the opening date of my Lloyds Ultra ccā€ and it came back to me with the exact date (which matched my expectation so I believed it without double checking with a human)

I also unticked all marketing but still got the email. Don’t think you can see promo end date in app. Cashback amount does show if you go into the card and then into the transactions bit

Statements have these dates from the start.

I’ve had that before with 0% purchase / balance transfer cards, but my Ultra statement only has the usual annual rate on the last few I’ve checked.

I’ve found my cashback amount in the transactions screen thanks to the above tip. I guess the 1% cashback party is over unless I can swap card type and back to Ultra again

My 1% expired 01/10/2026 but have literally just had the email to say 1% being extended for another year today so looks like some are coming with a delay!

I made my first ever S75 charge back on Saturday with Lloyds. Today I have been asked to provide supporting evidence via an online portal.
Let me see how they handle it.

Interested in this! Keep us updated, and best of luck

I will. First time I have had to do this, so I have nothing to compare with.
