Such comparisons are meaningless, imo. Piling in to the highest performing asset class at any given time is just not a sensible strategy

(PS, my investment in crypto delivered far more return than I realistically expected last year, but no Safemoon involved)

Of course you should never put all your eggs in one basket. Diversifying a portfolio is key. For example, I invest and tend to do fine in:
Apple (historical shares)
S&P 500 ETF
NASDAQ ETF
Euro DAXX 50 ETF
FTSE 100 ETF
Bitcoin
Ethereum
Less in the last two as well. My terrible plan of £10 of every crypto on Coinbase (although it is the ultimate diversification) is a bad idea and probably that cheeseboard is the better investment.
