I’m aware, hence the “proper” in my original message.
Using an iPhone app on an iPad is not an ideal experience. It’s usable, but it’s not something I’d recommend to anyone.

But it would allow you to ditch your smartphone, which is what are trying to achieve.
Let’s not give common sense out ![]()
Vision Pro would be awesome. As far as I know none of the other banks support it. But because Monzo has no web version, this becomes a real blocker. Other banks I can access through Safari. And they can use iPad build for this.
I don’t want to ditch the smartphone until a proper app is released for iPadOS.
In my experience, running iOS apps on non-iOS devices can result in certain features not working properly due to the app running on an unsupported device. I don’t want to ditch the phone and then find that I need it for something further down the line.
If it hasn’t happened in the 9 years that this thread has been going, it’s very unlikely that it ever will.
They also don’t even support using the app on multiple phones of the same OS, so that would also need to change before it could be used on an iPad (as most people would use it on both).
Given the amount of functionality in Monzo’s app, I would be surprised if they ever release an iPad app. It would need significant design work to refactor everything for the larger screen size. Most banking apps I have that have an iPad app is just the same app but wider, I don’t think that would really work with Monzo.
I would love an iPad / desktop / web app. I’d use it for more detailed insights into my spending.
