Issue: Display bug means I can’t dismiss notifications in my activity feed
Details to reproduce: when trying to dismiss a notification item using the X button, it briefly flashes up the word “clear” and then flicks back to the X again. Repeatedly pressing the X button just causes it to flicker but not actually change.
