Yeah I tried a completely different charger and cable in the living room but still the same message.
Partners old phone was doing this, updated the iOS and it stopped.
Hopefully 27 RC next week fixes it then.

Nothing to do with iOS 27, but grinds my gears a bit. Apple says apps update automatically overnight if one is available when on WiFi and power

I thought this was a me problem, I’ve had it forever.
I have to go into the App Store and manually click update all to about a 100 apps every week or so.

I check pretty much every day. My wife never checks so when I go on hers it’s like her entire App Library that needs updating
I’ve never bothered with automatic updates. I just manually update once a day.
I update every night.
I did it last night.
I woke up this morning and looked again.
There were apps from yesterday and the day before that hadn’t updated.
It has always been thus.

Maybe coincidence, but the last 2 days in a row since putting the latest iOS beta on my phone, my Apple Watch silent alarm has not gone off
Same here, and that is only if a certain app, usually WhatsApp, stops working.
I’ve not experienced this - are you running the beta on your watch as well?
Nope, only on the phone. Which is why it’s so weird because I thought the alarm functionality ran independently of the phone.
Edit: Think I might have sussed it. In all the time I’ve owned it, I have run the watch in silent mode, but somehow it had ended up set at the lowest possible media volume.
So I presume the inaudible audio alarm was playing instead of vibrating as usual.

The watchOS 27 betas have been pretty much as stable as the iOS ones. It’s felt ready since beta 7.
Still laggy on control centre and the new app opening animation for me. Series 10.
If I’m not mistaken, this is actually working as intended! App developers (or Apple?) can choose what percentage of users get the updates immediately. Essentially trying to prevent a rogue app update breaking everyone’s app all at once.

Their problem is the update being there but not being automatically installed.
Not an issue of others receiving the update before them.
Right, but it’s not installed because there’s a flag on the update to delay the auto-instal for x amount of users.

Why does my wife’s WhatsApp always reach end of life until she manually updates? She has automatic updates and leaves phone on charger overnight. She not eligible for any auto updates?
