This is exactly what it looks like when you have a draft email open. For sure you accidentally started a new message and closed it

I just checked, when you go to start a new email and then swipe it down, it goes to the bottom like that.

Tapping on it and then tapping the X and delete draft, it’ll remove it.

I’ve got this button on my mail app and I have no drafts or anything

It’s because you’ve tapped write a new email. It won’t show as a draft as you’ve not typed anything.

I haven’t tapped on anything. Even if I do and then click x it is still there.

I have the same thing. When I’m inside a folder the menu looks like this:

But when I go to the folders view, the other elements disappear leaving just the compose new email button like this:

Just standard behaviour for me, nothing to do with open drafts etc.

This isn’t the same as what Tired was showing though.

What Tired was showing is when you start a new message and swipe it down. I can recreate it perfectly in my Mail app, as well as get rid of it.

It’s done this for as long as I remember when you start a new message by (possibly accidentally) tapping the new message icon then swipe down. In other words, it’s just a minimised email that hasn’t been sent yet.

It’s a minimised new message window so you must have done something for it to appear. I would have thought that it would be quite easy to do it accidentally as I’ve done similar things myself without realising.

I see weird behaviours with Music app when adding songs to playlists. Sometimes doesn’t work
