Could be one of those nasty bugs that rears their head on a month change.
My Apple Watch weirdly didn’t track my sleep stages last night and I can’t figure out why.
It’s so frustrating when things just don’t work as they’re supposed to.

Apple Music logged me out today on Android and I can’t get back in at the moment. So definitely something going on with Apple accounts.
I thought you said you’d never get rid of the Christmas hat?
No, @revels said that! I never agreed to it!
I think I suit my witch hat much better.
So the only way to show what I mean is that it usually looks like this:
But I don’t have the large image at the top or the menu:
It’s like the floating left menu is just always selected. Normally when I press this button it takes you to the apps page:
Instead all it does is open the floating menu:
This has literally only started happening earlier today.
That tv lives about as much on the edge as I do.
How odd!
The top shelf (featured content) is missing, which explains that behaviour. When you’re on the featured stuff, up normally opens up the menu.
I suspect it’s a connectivity issue. Either an Apple outage or a CDN issue perhaps, since that content is fetched, and it looks like there may be a loading icon hiding behind the home tab. Should resolve itself at some point if that’s the case.
Edit: this is happening on mine now!
This is happening to me as well. Restart doesn’t help either.
Edit. Interestingly the top section of ‘adverts’ on TV app Home Screen on iOS also disappeared.
You’ve no idea how happy I was when it was lifted on and literally only just fits.
Mine’s still showing featured content but there is an issue with Up Next. For the past few days, the iOS and iPadOS apps have been showing Amazon Prime series that I’ve never watched in Up Next but the Apple TV is only showing what I have watched and no Prime content (even Prime content that I’m watching).
I think it’s an 18 bug because it was all fine on 17.
If I factory reset my device fully (DFU complete wipe), will it remove any traces from previous installs?
I assume the issue I have here is upgrading to betas over time which is potentially causing the Lloyds card issue.
I’m gonna go grab an O2 sim from the store as I don’t trust the O2 esim download process on a new device without access to the number.
But to log into my account I’ll need my number to retrieve the code to login?
If its your first time in a while maybe, but I haven’t in a while.
I mean you can login now and just screenshot the QR code?
I will have a look.
Am I best starting the iPhone from new? Or could I restore from backup once it’s removed any traces of previous installs?
It’s probs a waste of time and have no confidence Lloyds know what they’re doing with this issue.
Surely back up your phone, do a fresh install add the card. If it works, great, if not, restore from backup and confirm that isn’t the issue. I agree for this having a physical sim temporarily will be easier than risking eSIM provisioning a few times in short order.
Your other option is to see if you can temporarily add your card to a different persons phone. If it works just then remove the card. If it doesn’t then….
I get the same problem with first direct sometimes, physical works fine as does Lloyds. But with fd there’s always a transaction they wanna check with me, usually most recent.
The Lloyds card works fine otherwise, but maybe I have to go way back in the transactions with them on the original card to see if they find anything, and see if that fixes anything.
I’d quite like the fitness and health apps to be combined into one. I’d rather see my training load in the health app than having to keep checking my metrics in two separate places.
No please no!
The health app is terribly bloated as a data store. It never bodes well when an app tries to be both a data store and a good user interface for presenting that data.
I think what needs to happen is for the fitness app to rebrand into a wellbeing app and bring in those health metrics that are relevant for fitness. In essence, it needs to become Gentler Streak. They made decent progress with that and vitals, but it’s a baby step. The vitals stuff needs to be so much more than just a pretty graph.
18.0.1 is out as well as WatchOS 11.0.1
