I wish for 4 September.
Doesn’t that last letter (a in this case) signify the number of times it had to go through the build toolchain before a successful compile? I guess that’s sort of an indication of the code quality, though.
Yep. That’s why a lot of folks place a lot of credence on that letter as an indication as to how close we are to a GM release.
If folks who have held off wanna dive into the beta still, this is the release to do it with. Regardless of the letter, it’s a pretty rough update this time around, but this build is indicative of what to expect on day one.
Yes. The builds start very far down the alphabet, for example “J”, then work their way up towards “A” usually being the final build before the release candidate.
No, I don’t know why I woke up at 3am and decided to write that
I’m still holding off until next week. The (to me) camera bug I’ve experienced makes the risk not with the reward.
Next week when I’m back in the UK the camera is one of the first things I’ll be testing in beta 7. It seems quite stable now.
And now we know why Image Playground will be limited to pre-defined prompts only.
Oh dear!
Congrats on beating the horse for once!
meh mine was downloading ahaha thats my excuse anyhow
I saw it first on Reddit tbh: Reddit - Dive into anything
Another “A” build
Beat at my own race!
No changes in modem version
Tempted to jump in now that we’re so close to release but I’ll probably wait until the RC next week.
I was on beta 7 which was remarkably stable and thankfully the camera issue I experienced has resolved itself.
Fair enough to wait but I’d imagine beta 8 would be stable enough.
18.1 beta three seems to also have solved this and it’s nice to have intelligence back to play with. Will likely stay on this track now.
The photo cleanup feature works terribly.
You can however create some absolutely cursed images
I do not recommend it trying to use it on a dog‘s face, Speaking from what I’ve just seen….
