iOS 17

You do seem to have a myriad of issues that nobody else has.

Yeah, it is strange as I did a fresh start when I upgraded to 17.1

Even though it’s not affecting others here, you should still submit it the bug to Apple via feedback.

Whatever it is that’s unique to your setup causing this, Apple will be able to identify via the logging and diagnostics data it sends with your bug submission. Every crash is logged by the system, and will stick out like a sore thumb to Apple’s engineers.

Big change:

That screenshot has your email in. And is that tone new?

Does your phone not just live on silent 100% of the time….?

Oh yeah, I didn’t realise that

Basically the ability to set the default tone is new

Yes, kinda. All my notifications come to my watch, so the phone is silent anyway

This can’t be a screenshot of your phone! You’re not on a call. :eyes:

There was a thread where we discussed RCS, I couldn’t remember which one, but Beeper gave up and came out with a reverse engineered iMessage

Proper iMessage on Android - no middle man having your Apple credentials

17.2 RC released - installing now.

Ouch, big update

Thanks for reminding me

Special screenshot for @michaelw90, proof it’s from me :face_with_monocle:

Going to RC grade normally is a full image download rather than a diff based patch.
May be a Tuesday release then if there isnt another RC again.

I know that, however previous RC’S have been around the 5.5 gig, Mark

Along with watchOS 10.2 RC, which I’ve also installed.

tvOS got a second 17.2 RC to fix voice text input.

I suspect full build will still go ahead on Tuesday though.

iOS 17.2 released. It’s the same build as the RC, as is watchOS 10.2.

Apple has surely given up on the usual Tuesday releases, or it has a security hole patch.
