Hoping mine arrives today :eyes:

What’s it like compared to the old plus one if you had it?

I did like the old plus one. Need to justify perks first as not going to upgrade just for a card…..obviously

I’d probably make use of the railcard and greggs but not the cinema ticket. Can’t remember last time I went.

Uber one, although I use Uber, it doesn’t offer that great value through Monzo.

Greggs and the railcard alone made it worth it for me, the extra interest was the cherry on top. I’ve stopped my weekly Greggs though (trying to be a bit healthier) and I moved my savings elsewhere, so keeping Perks for the railcard alone didn’t make sense. :frowning:

Could you show the Apple Pay version?

Once I go back into the office in September then there is one near work. And I do like the chicken sausage rolls lol

I didn’t know they were a thing :open_mouth: I don’t get weekly rewards but I need to try one!

Temper your expectations… I know some like them but I could barely finish mine!

Was it foul?

I actually enjoy the chicken one. Mine was fresh tho.

I can’t imagine chicken does well sat out just being warmed by a light.

That’s the key to them, need to be fresh and hot. Anything else and not quite as good

Greggs don’t keep food under hot lamps do they?

They aren’t subject to VAT that way

They do, that’s how they avoid the VAT. If you get them fresh they are hot but they can go warm and cold as they are not warmed up to order.

Keeping it under a hot lamp would subject it to VAT

Oh sorry I didn’t think hot lamps as in heating lamps. I just meant lights. Which will likely keep them somewhat warm but not officially.

Noted. Hot and fresh is key to a good chicken sausage roll - or whatever they’re called.

I miss the sandwich shop that used to be near my old workplace. They essentially put anything and everything in pastry
