Good point - I haven’t got Monzo UberOne yet. I’ll see what happens next month.

Haven’t fixed it for me, just did from my house to local hospital on a Visa card + Monzo card + master card + Apple Pay + cash + PayPal since this is a regular trip for me

Apple Pay: £8.51

Visa: £8.51

Mastercard(non Monzo): £8.51

PayPal: £8.51

Cash: £8.51

Monzo card: £8.95 including discount

Usually the Monzo card is a whole £2-10 more expensive for trips.

Changed it to further; my house in Manchester to London and Monzo card was £31.40 more expensive

I’ve addressed it to Uber Support weeks ago but haven’t had any luck. Although I’ve never had luck with their support the only time they cared was when we crashed they kept ringing me before the ambulance turned up as the drivers device alerted them and soon as I said it wasn’t our drivers fault they didn’t care then lol

I use at least 10+ uber taxis a week at the moment so I can’t afford to use the Monzo card for the trips

Uber eats is cheaper with Monzo card tho

I wish I could get a bus back from the train station at midnight but sadly not!

I have noticed that as well

I’ve realised that I spend so much on trains going to the office, that the 10% (extra 7%) Uber cashback on rail bookings would more than cover the cost of Perks for me so for the first time since Premium existed, I might become a paying customer again

I’ve got two questions for those of you with Uber One via Monzo. I know with private hire bookings you’re forced to pay via Monzo to get access to Uber One perks, but is that the same for rail bookings? I.e. do you still get the 10% back if you pay with another card?

Are you also still eligible to earn Avios direct from Uber on your rail bookings?

Generally I believe you have to have either your physical/virtual Monzo card saved to the Uber app as a saved payment method to get it, whether having a Monzo card saved and then paying with another card still unlocks the discount I’m not sure (not tried it)

Around the combining again it all depends how the 10% discount is classified, based on the terms the answer would typically be no as the 10% off in itself is considered ‘promotional’ and wouldn’t be combinable with earning avios

Still available and doesn’t require you to use your Monzo card afaik.

I only see 10% back on flights not trains.

It does say cashback is given on rail tickets but doesn’t clarify how much, unless it’s because I have a £5 off first booking offer applied.

Edit: I did just go through the rail flow and looks like I do get 10% back.

Has anyone tried the new Greggs chicken roll? :joy: :poultry_leg: Can you claim it with the treats vouchers?

I quite like it! Not a perks sub though so can’t check it.

Chicken roll is an option. I got one yesterday with Perks.

With the Vue ticket, it’s a shame you need to wait until the start of the month for the code.

It would be better if the ticket became available towards the end of the month so you can pre-book for 1st of month.

Issue being when new films are released at the start of the month. Now have to wait til the 1st and hope it isn’t sold out.

You can do it the other way in that you prebook using THIS month’s ticket rather than next month’s. I’ve done that once. It’s also useful when there’s nothing on that you want to see the current month but there’s something you want to pre-book for the following month.

Well that’s a level of clever I didn’t think of. I used this months to book something on 30th April. Now I have to wait til 1st to book for 1st

I speak from experience haha. I’ve had vouchers in the past with a shelf-life and it’s one way to kick things into the long grass for something you actually want to see!
