If I want to pay off extra, but it’s more than the final payment, can you do that? And where does the excess go?
Eg £3k on Flex, £1k a month, I want to pay off £1500. Does it remove the final payment and then half the penultimate one?

Yes, that’s what it does
Oooooh. This is quite amazing.
As a complete newbie, when should I expect my Flex notification to pick a plan? I for some reason thought it would be straightaway?
I usually get a notification immediately as the card payment is processed.
Same usually as soon as I’ve bought something Monzo app sends a notification.
You should get a notification straight away - if you bought something off Amazon, they don’t charge the card until the item ships though
It is always instant for me.
Odd. I checked and Monzo have notification permissions, including priority ones on iOS… yet, nothing. I’ll blame the merchant.
Have they actually charged you yet?
Could be one of those that don’t charge the card until the item ships, depending if they bought online or not
Is the payment in your Flex feed?
Yup, as pending
If the payment is in your feed you should be able to tap and choose a plan?
another one for us to have a look at!
Welp, you’ve broke it. Nice one. Hope you’re proud.
Thanks! Happy to provide more info if needed
I had a look at the in-app notification settings and they were all weird. Wonder if it’s because the transaction notifications were off?
That said I definitely didn’t set those off and lending promotions on myself…
#MonzoConspiracy
I don’t think so. I seem to remember something about turning notifications off to not receive duplicate notifications from Monzo and Apple Wallet?
If so, it would be good for Flex notifications to still come through as they’re a bit more important than “hey you spent £17 on avocado toast!”
Also your new profile pic reminds me of this
