Example: I pay a £30 internet bill each month. My 2 housemates then send me £10. I only want to put £10 towards “Bills”

With Summary this does now work, but only if it is a P2P payment from another Monzo user.

It definitely needs to behave the same way when you receive money from non-Monzo users, as worded here rather well:

I think most people’s issue here is the fact that if you’re going to go full Monzo, the budgeting, which is what Monzo are championing as one of the main benefits at the moment of managing your money, needs to be as accurate as possible, and the amount that has been spent in each category needs to accurately reflect what is actually happening, or else people just stop using it as it doesn’t help them.

As much as I’d like to convert everyone who ever transfers money to me to Monzo, I’d still like my budgeting to be accurate in the meantime!
