How can stop the daily alerts on my MONZO account as I have cashed in the 1p challenge account - but still everyday I get a notification?
Which notifications are you referring to? You can get ones from both Monzo and IFTTT.
What do you mean by cashed in? If you want to stop doing the savings challenge you need to log into your IFTTT account and disable it.

Ok let me do that first thank you - I keep getting a IFTTT notification every day at 9am
When you’re editing you applet there should be a toggle button to disable IFTTT notifications when the applet runs.
