I have a question about this new Scan and Pay feature coming soon.
How does that work? I’ve never seen a QR code in shops to pay for things.
I just scan with google pay on the POS but I don’t have a card with iFast.
Thought this may work on NFC but apparently not.
You scan the QR code which will open your banking app and make a bank transfer not a card payment.
This isn’t much a thing in the UK but other countries have the option available.

sorry but what QR code? I’m overseas and never seen QR codes to pay for things (or maybe I just haven’t noticed). Only a pos to scan.
Like a square with black and white piece all over it. Usually at restaurants to bring up the menu etc and order at the table.

lol I know what a QR code is but never come across a checkout where they provide you with a QR code to pay your bill instead of a pos.
I will investigate/ask next time at the supermarket for example
You won’t find this in the UK.
That can ‘do one’. Never use a public QR code if it’s for a payment request or to input personal details. Car parks are the worst for this!
If you travel to Thailand, Singapore,Korea, etc Scan and pay via QR code at the merchant shop is very common and straight fwd just scan & pay. I think QR payment is less common in the UK, but I saw some in France and Germany the usage is growing
