How we design the tools we use to help you behind the scenes
This is great to read, and spot on. It drives me crazy how little design and development attention companies often give to internal tools. Or they’ll spend time on something, launch it, and move on, and the next tool is completely different and they don’t integrate. The other point I’d add is that another risk of poor design and internal product development, is an increase in mistakes that can cost real money (or lose customers, etc.). Low staff moral (from being forced to use bad tools as mentioned in the blog) can obviously also lead to increased errors.
