Over 1000 here…
What’s the goal for? To cover day-to-day expenses; special treat; or some kind of long-term saving?
Apologies in advance if the question is too nosy.
To drag my response a bit closer back to the original topic; I don’t think I can accurately check how much I’ve rounded up. My original coin jar I cashed out and deleted after the ability to nominate pots for round-ups was introduced, so I’ve no record of that one. And I’ve further complicated matters by changing the round-up flag between more than one pot depending on which one I’ve felt could do with a little topping up at any one time
At the moment round-ups are going in my “car” pot because I look to have a bunch of bills coming up for it; prior to that they were going into a holiday pot; prior to that, a rainy day pot.
Re started my pot after it passed the £500 mark on the first of this month so my figures have reset, but I’ve saved another £17.94 since then, so a pound a day roughly!
I have to say, love how the average roundup is tending to £0.50.
I agree. I find it odd I was expecting it to be sub 10p due to the way pricing tends to be .99 or .95.
I didn’t think I earned enough to justify roundups (long story but as a student, I get about £25 a week to live off once bills/food/etc. are covered) so I stuck with the 10p from IFTTT. However, I liked the idea of having it shown in my pots how much I’d saved, not having to tag it in my feed then searching. It’s been 2 days but I’ve already saved £1.70! I make lots of little purchases through the day (a few £s here or there) so I’m hoping to get to £100 by Christmas and use it for gifts.
