How do I turn off purchase/transaction notifications that my child makes on their under 16 account? I’m on Android and have looked through the app and can’t find anything about turning them off.

There isn’t a way to turn the Child account transaction notifications on/off in isolation, unfortunately.
They are included in the overall notification setting (Settings → Notifications → Transactions and payments) which covers your Monzo user account, rather than an individual Monzo bank/card account.

The point of the u16 account is for you to actively monitor your child’s account.
Otherwise other banking solutions would be better suited.
