Hi. UK newbie here. I’m using my Flex in the US but want to pay off the total balance so I don’t hot the credit limit. But the app only seems to allow me to pay next months minimum payment or less.
How do I pay it all off?
Flex > tap transaction > pay extra?
You need to choose a plan first if you haven’t already.
That just lets you pay off the minimum.
My ‘plan’ on the app is to pay off in full at the payment date - but I want to pay earlier so I can put more spend on the card
You should also have an option, next to ‘Pay Early’ to ‘Reduce or Increase’. You should then be able to adjust the slider there to move it to pay the full balance on the next due date.
This is in the UK - not sure if the US is setup slightly different though.
If you mean pay off the full balance, not individual transactions, then on Android:
Click on your Flex card.
Click on the 3 dots
Click “Pay extra”
Don’t have “pay extra” on my iPhone. Just: add to apple wallet; change limit; bank statements; share thoughts.
I’m in the UK - the slider only goes up to the minimum payment. If I type in more then it resets to the minimum payment.
Manage Payments > Pay extra?
Found the answer. The reason I can’t pay it all off is that there are two big charges that are on “hold”.
So I paid off all the small ones but of course it won’t allow me to pay off the on hold ones.
