I have been having constant issues with payments declining via Google wallet for both my joint debit card flex credit card. The support I have received from monzo chat as well as phone has been the most pathetic I have ever experienced any where. Have called them 100s of times along with chat. They keep coming with the same suggestions of confirming the id, deleting the cards from wallet. Done all that with no result. Somone did manage to fix the flex card which finally worked, I was told the joint card would also work but it didn’t. Haven’t tried the flex card again I guess it would decline again to. Looks like they have hired a bunch of incompetent idiots who have no clue. Don’t know what kind of system access they have as one idiot also claimed that my card eventually worked 2nd time and I told him I never used it 2nd time it was my wife’s joint account card, but he insisted that it was my card when infact her card has a different number.
Any suggestions how to escalate it or complain. Thanks
Tell them in chat that you want to raise an official complaint into how this has been dealt with… wait 8 weeks and when you haven’t had a response raise it with the financial ombudsman..
