Gift Money

I’m going to a wedding this weekend, and the bride and bride groom don’t have a gift registry - rather, they have requested that anyone who wants to offer something can make a contribution to their future.

In instances like this, normally you would issue a cheque or give cash. But wouldn’t it be great if you could create a gift card which you could print with the URL, and those funds could be put into holding until they have been withdrawn? Just something a little more special than just giving cash, which they’d have to deposit into an account in-branch anyway.

Buy them an amazon voucher, if there is nothing they want from amazon then you can’t help them! :joy:

You can get mortgages on Amazon?!

You don’t specifically state that it is towards a mortgage. You stated it was for ‘the future’.

I think you are really wanting something called a cheque

Paypal? Bank Transfer? Assuming they’re not on Monzo :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t think I’d have been able to fulfil that request with my previous bank either (I’d have had to order a cheque book, and they take about 2 weeks to arrive).
