Too clunky for me, expected similar to Ghost of Tsushima but it’s far from.
Yotei needs to hurry up and come down in price.
Going to give Metro Exodus a whirl.
In the new Pony world there will be very little opportunities for that although I think GTA physical is just a key in the box to prevent resale as well.

Looks like we may have a Cloud gaming stand alone subscription in the future. Milk every opportunity to charge customers.

Ocarina of Time looking superb. A few games that I’m interested in from the direct. Most happy about the Mario Kart update. I’m still just surprised that there still isn’t a new 3D Mario being announced

I’m desperate to get my hands on a pre-order of the Switch 2 Ocarina edition. If anyone has any tips (or any good stock checker bots or discord servers) please let me know. I’m happy to buy it in either the US or the UK, since I’ll be in the US when it comes out, but can also send a UK order to my cousins house.
Seems the stock drops are few and far between.
Anyway, super excited to play it as well as FF7 Revelation and Stranger Than Heaven both dropping early next year.
That aside I recently completed Wolverine on PS5 and thoroughly enjoyed it! A very different game to the Spider Man ones that Insomniac made, but thoroughly enjoyable nevertheless. And very timely, since it was clearly timed to drop in line with some of what the MCU are currently doing, ie Jean Grey and The Hand both being in the new Spider Man movie, and rumor that Doomsday opens with something to do with Wolverine.
Shop to seems to still be letting you preorder. Not sure if it will hit on launch day at this point. I ordered one 9th September and hoping to get it launch day….

I was going through some old photos the other day and saw one that I took at work (back when I was working for a games company before I was made redundant late last year and, without irony, they’re laying off even more people this year) where we’d just bought 4 x 32Gb RTX 5090s when they first came out. £3,500 each. Now I’m seeing the same things going for an average of £5,000 each.
I’m still trying to decide what I want to do with my PS5 Pro because of everything that’s happened within the gaming industry over the past two years has been rather ■■■■. I don’t play it as often as I like, and I’m struggling to justify even £70 for GTA VI for a digital license which could potentially be pulled at any time.
I’ve been using NVIDIA Geforce Now for cloud gaming on and off, but it’s still a cost that I need to absorb on a regular basis - and eventually gave up when I wasn’t really using it that much anyway.
