it works on the amount so it depends on the benefit and payment frequency afaik. I’ve always had the payments weekly but i dont see why it wouldnt work on larger monthly payments

If the badge didn’t matter, it wouldn’t exist, by offering such a badge Monzo are explicitly stating it does matter. Although it is a relatively small issue in the grand scheme of things, and doesn’t impact functionality, Monzo are building a brand around belonging and excluding people from that sense of belonging because they don’t meet arbitrary requirements – especially those that are not a choice! – is not the inclusivity that Monzo aim for.

I am sure this is an oversight and not intentional, after all no matter how hard you try, there’ll always be aspects of inclusivity that are missed, but Monzo will rectify them and that’s what makes Monzo inclusive.

I mentioned this as a passing comment the last time I needed to chat as I manually moved everything over before CASS was made available. The agent I was chatting to then said they would toggle it behind the scenes and a few days later, I got my notification saying I had earned my Full Monzo badge.

It might be worth doing the same.

I’ve made the jump so in a couple of days or so I’ll hopefully get my money a day early. Also setup a DD, but the DD tick has not activated, not that fussed, as not doing a full CASS until Monzo start giving interest on their Standard Current Account.

The only badge I need.

I’ve spoken to support, same with the salary one, being disabled, I will not be able to get that one, unless a miracle happens, now, if Monzo started up over 10 years ago, I would have been able to get it.

does it really matter? not really. but then why would Monzo setup such a thing? to show other people that you have made Monzo your main bank account

as for needing to get out more, you know nothing about me, if I was physically and mentally able to, sure.

Any reason why my direct debit one is not ticked off even though I have four direct debits?

How does Monzo know if someone has another bank account or not? Does CASS tell Monzo? Does this penalise immigrants in first-time account holders.
