Yep, just make sure its a country that doesnt have restricted broadcasting rights, its usually why people do it connected to the US as its the most obvious one.
Yeah you can, NordVPN allows simultaneous connections on up to 10 devices, while F1TV allows up to 6 simultaneous streams.
I can’t ever see Liberty wanting to prevent people from doing it this way as its straight money in their pockets, they have hinted at doing it before but only due to pressure from Sky.
EDIT: Apologies, just repeated what @WhyAydan said pretty much but was replying so didn’t see haha
Hahahah that’s actually comical! But yeah that’s what I mean, they’ll only do it if pressured from Sky, but what are Sky going to do… give up rights? Its a win win for Liberty!
If I happen to come across an affiliate link with a decent discount on Youtube this evening for the VPN, I’ll send you one over!
I’m sure a couple of years ago they had a crackdown on VPNs. They stopped working for a bit, then started working again, then I was getting obviously throttled when watching through a VPN for a while, then it all just went away and worked perfectly again!
I guess they had some more pressure applied by Sky, complied for a while to appease them and then went back to normal when they stopped looking
That’s what I’m hoping on, but even using Apple Pay on the app it was asking for a billing address… can I just put a random one? I cant remember if I had to do that before
I used F1TV on apple tv last year using ControlD. Not really sure if it’s apple tv that’s the issue, but I did have a few instances of buffering, and the quality doesn’t actually seem to be as good compared to airplaying from my phone to the TV.
I used ControlD for a while and also had buffering/low quality streams. Whether that’s from F1 throttling it or not, I’m not sure. Best success I’ve had is with NordVPN. Basically flawless
5am quali and 4am race is fine. I’ll be able to get back to sleep at 6am for a bit before starting my day.
Just a shame though because my 4yo now seems to be getting into it but won’t be able to watch live. Ever since he saw Lewis read a CBeebies Bedtime story he’s been fascinated with what he’s doing. He’s excited to see Lewis racing a Ferrari.
