I would really like to be able to add new cattergories so I can use my app to do my expenses. I would also like to be able to add an item to more than one category. So expenses and eating out.
Any chance this will be possible?

There already is an expenses category that you can associate items to and I believe that there is talk on more (custom) categories so hopefully we can see them soon.
