Euros cash deposit via Paypoint

I have some euros hanging around. Is it possible to deposit these directly with Paypoint, or should I get them exchanged for GBP first?

It’s only possible to deposit Sterling via PayPoint. You’ll need to covert your Euros first.

I ended up paying the notes into my old Natwest account and transferring.

The downside being that they don’t take coins. Anybody know anywhere that accepts or exchanges coins?
