Employee credit check

Hi @OmarRana

In this particular case I’m referring to everyone on the forum :grinning:

Ok sir, sorry I kind of use certain words in a singular meaning only.

Just got round to reading through this thread. I myself was employed in the security industry, SIA badge holder and all that. Credit check, CRB check, all pretty standard stuff and nowt to be worried about. I check my credit report fairly regularly and noticed I was recently credit checked by my Wife’s employer. For reasons I am not going to explain, this was perfectly normal for her area of employment and I personally have no issue with it. :see_no_evil::hear_no_evil::speak_no_evil:

I would love to know that reason.

I’m not saying you’re one of them, but some of us don’t get hung up by the ‘Big Brother’ thing and so in my case, the credit check thing isn’t an issue. I’m subject to far more background checks than just a normal credit history check. As I say, it’s perfectly normal thing for me, perks of my former career for nearly 30 years and my Wife’s own career for the last 20 odd years. You get used to it and get on with life.

Took a while for me to figure out.

I’m assuming financial services.
