Emma Feedback Thread / Q&A

(Grant MacGregor) #975

Good to hear!

(Jordan Taylor) #976

I’ve reported this a few times during the beta, but there’s still lots of UI quirks that make the app feel far from polished.

Screen capture:

Pixel 2 XL
Default DPI
Android 9

(Paul) #977

I’m liking the new look. However my ‘left to spend’ amount is completely wrong and I can’t fathom out how to make it right. I thought it was including my savings in that but it’s not. Also there’s a bug when you hide an account the screen goes white and you have to kill the app and start again.

(Edoardo Moreni) #978

Hi Jordan, I can’t play the video, can you DM me?

(Edoardo Moreni) #979

Left to spend (from payday) = Income - Expenses. It’s right.

(Paul) #980

It isn’t I’m afraid. It’s about £580 out. I cannot fathom it

(Edoardo Moreni) #981

Can you reach out via support?

(Paul) #982

I will do , thank you

(Edoardo Moreni) #983

Hey guys, we have more product out this morning. https://techcrunch.com/2018/10/18/emma-crypto/

#984

Hi,

Looks good! Any chance of adding Bitpanda some time?

(Edoardo Moreni) #985

Yes, we are taking feedback and adding more as we progress.

#986

Great, thanks!

(Andy) #987

For those waiting for Amazon/Newsday, Yolt have announced support today for those institutions.

(Grant MacGregor) #988

Fair play to @edo1493 for the latest update! :ok_hand:t2:

(Kolok) #989

Hopefully that means that they’ve done some backend work and it’ll be easier for Emma to get on also.

(Grant MacGregor) #990

Here’s hoping!

(Edoardo Moreni) #991

We use different providers. They are on Yodlee. We are on TrueLayer and Saltedge.

#992

@edo1493 Do you have plans to become a PISP?

I’d really like to get rid of many of the banking apps from my phone!

(Edoardo Moreni) #993

Yes, but I think it will take another 12 mons before seeing a fully functioning PISP in action. At this point, we haven’t even applied to become one.

#994

Has anyone applied? I can’t think of any PISPs in the wild…
