I have the correct period range in trends. It’s just my bills pot which stubbornly refuses to change from its original period setting.
Ah, it’s the Bills pot reporting period.
That is - according to the app - set by Summary. But which one?: ‘Summary’ as we know it is to be retired at some point to be replaced with Trends. But Trends is called ‘Summary’ in the app-code, so it could be either.
If you set BOTH the Summary end date and the Trends end date to the same date, does the Bills pot end date then show the correct date?
No it doesn’t change. I have the updated date range in trends and am able to change the date range in summary through the search method outlined above, but the date range on the bills pot stubbornly refuses to budge.
I’d start with the usual: uninstall the Monzo app, restart your device, download the Monzo app & login & test again routine first.
Tried that. Still the same.
Just tried again by searching for summary and it seems to have saved the updated date range. Has it been fixed in the latest version of the app?
Having exactly the same issue here, but searching for summary or spending report now brings back nothing, so no way of accessing it. Yes the date is set as I need it in trends, but I can’t get the pots ,“left to spend” dates to change.
This is still an issue. Had to search and stumbled across this thread to resolve the pots date not being set via trend.
Searching for a summary report and updating the date in there is the only way to update the bills pot. Was driving me crazy that it wasn’t resetting.
Even the FAQs and help text within the app still talk about updating the summary period as if it exists still.
Overall looks like a defect + doc updates required for self help
Thought I was going crazy trying to find the “Summary Period” to change the dates for my pots so thank goodness that I stumbled across this thread! I have no way of changing the date for all my pots which is SO annoying because my “left to spend” is utterly useless and now very confusing. I guess we’ll have to wait for an update. sigh
Settings - Monzo Labs - Hide ‘Left to Spend’.
Won’t fix it, but you won’t see it again.
I select the card for my joint account, click the small pie chart at the top of the screen and then the calendar icon, followed by ‘Change’.
