Disney Plus - General Discussion

I’m assuming that this is because of the time jumps. Each set of three will be at one time, with a jump between each of them

I mean I don’t think it’s because of it, they could just do it weekly and people would deal with it. I just think it’s an experiment, timing with other Disney stuff or a push from Gilroy to make it better.

Each 3 ep block is a mini arc in the story line like last time but last time was weekly.

surprised to see 28 Weeks Later on there, and 28 Days isn’t, suppose you stream the weaker film and sell the one everyone loves.

Heard murmurs they might try and up scale the 28 days later footage as it’s pretty terrible quality. It was recorded in miniDV if I recall.

You can buy it digitally now, mainly off the back of the 28 Years Later trailers, whether they can upscale it without making it look terrible, I’m to be convinced.

28 Days Later was a British Film Council/DNA Films co-production.

28 Weeks Later was a Fox Atomic/DNA Films co-production

So, Disney probably don’t have the distribution rights for 28 Days Later (at least in the UK).

We watched 28 Days Later last night (bought it) and God I forgot how terrible quality it is

It is a great film still, given it 23 years (which seems mad). I’m looking forward to seeing 28 years later soon.

The whole Season has been great so far, but it’s hard to argue that Episode 8 wasn’t about as good as Star Wars can get.

Absolute :fire::fire::fire::fire::fire:.

I really hope the writer continues with another show in Star Wars, I was about done with the miss step of the recent movies but Andor has restored some faith and interest. I have not watched rogue one for a while so after next week I will rewatch it to see how it all merges.

Outstanding TV. The Ghorman arc took an already solid show to a whole new level imo

And we are at Rogue One

The best Star Wars show by far and one of my favourites ever tbh, absolutely brilliant!
As much as I love it, I am sad its over even though it was known at the start.

Given the constistently high quality, it was never in doubt that they wouldn’t land the plane.

I totally stand by the above comment. It may not be my favourite Star Wars, but for me its undisputably the best. If the prequel and sequel trilogies were half as good they would have been outstanding.
