Direct Debit Verification Failure - Bennetts Motorcycle Insurance

I need to set a direct debit up for my motorcycle insurance but it fails verification on all my Monzo accounts.

As i have moved all my accounts to Monzo this is causing issues.

Is there any way we can resolve this?

Do you have the funds in the account to cover the insurance amount that’s being billed? Some companies earmark a certain amount as an authorisation check as far as I’m aware.

It’s an issue with your insurance company who don’t recognise Monzo. Their database of sort-codes is probably out of date.

If you email Monzo, they will speak to them.
