I have a Netflix subscription set up on my joint account, every month Monzo attempts to pay it from my business account. Does anyone know how to stop this other than by freezing my business account card?
Are you 100% certain that you’ve used the correct card details?

Have you checked the card details linked to your Netflix Account? These should be matching the details when you go into your joint account and press Card. This would be the simplest explanation for this situation.
If this isn’t the case, then it’s really bizarre why this is happening, and it’s something Monzo needs to be made aware of. If you do have your joint account card linked, and yet it’s still coming out of your business account, it would be worth reaching out to Monzo support either in-app or by phone on 0800 802 1281 (both are available between 7am - 8pm, 7 days a week for non-urgent support - the fastest way to get support is through the app)
I’m willing to bet you don’t. Check your details on your Netflix account settings.
There’s a 99.9% chance this is user error and not linked to Monzo at all.
Netflix is done via bank card number. There’s just no way to charge one card and another card have the money come out of it.
Especially given the JA card is white and the BA card is silver.
But if I say it’s entirely their fault then they’ll probs get pissed cuz I’m accusing them of something.
I know it’s user error, but I’m giving them someone to complain to aswell, who will tell them exactly the same as what we’ve all said.
