Consistency between pot and external transfers

Can we please have some consistency between the way that Pot transfers work and the way that external transfers work? :pray:

At the moment:

  • They’re both in different places
  • You can amend standing orders (e.g. change the date) but you can’t do this for Pots.

There are probably more.

Presumably this would fit into any batch of working on improving Payments given Pots seem to be the richer of the two??

I’d hope it would come as part of fixing the Payments tab. But who knows?! :man_shrugging:

In my opinion, this is part of a bigger problem Monzo has in needing to decide what pots are - are they mini bank accounts or not? Same issue with statements, history of deleted pots etc.
