Collected thoughts on card design

I disagree. Cook, housekeeper, best in class private healthcare, personal trainer, dietician, beauty specialists, stress not wrecking your circulatory system, do I go on?

I challenge Warren Buffett to prove to me that money doesn’t buy you time – he can give me £1bn and I’ll try to prove him wrong.

Dies when yacht sinks. Money didn’t buy them more time.

You get struck down by a bus on your morning commute. You can’t protect against acts of god but save for accidents money does 100% buy you more time.

If they had been born into poverty there’s every chance they wouldn’t have been alive to even be on a boat.

As morbid as it is, money buys time through a myriad of ways not least healthcare, education, access to jobs etc.

Talking about offshore accounts … What other mainstream UK banks offer some sort of offshore accounts? Lloyds, Barclays, HSBC, anyone else?

What does the Barclays International Bank debit card look like? Exact copy of the UK one?

Lloyds, Barclays, HSBC, Santander, Natwest, RBS, Standard Chartered and Bank Of Scotland

I don’t think Bank of Scotland do - they just redirect you to Lloyds.

Oh my mistake. Sowwy

It still bothers me that all the greens are different. Can’t tell if it’s by design or not.

I’m confident it is by design.

I believe the different greens shades are for like higher tiers of the accounts you have.

I don’t think they’re particularly good designs - I’m not really a fan of the indistinct blur of colour, and whilst different cards do have different shades and gradients, they’re mostly not really very distinctive. I preferred the old designs with the different shapes (though I didn’t collect many of them).

I think some of those are also just retail banking for people living in the Crown Dependencies rather than UK (or international) based customers.

It’s £250K in Savings right?

Yep

Savings or investments, so it doesn’t have to be cash. And just needs to be across all LBG brands, not Lloyds specifically.

Money can’t buy happiness, but it’s a lot nicer to be miserable in comfort.
