You’re correct

My flex card and plus card didn’t arrive like this, maybe it’s just for replacements?

I’m 95% sure mine arrived like this last year. I could just be imagining things but I definitely remember it from somewhere.

Now I am going to go back through the cycle of upgrading and downgrading my Lloyds and BoS accounts for new cards

Does it cost money to upgrade? Or should I be able to avoid charges if I do so at the beginning of the month and downgrade before month end?

Not sure about the end of the month, but 14 day cooling off period should still apply; no charges if you downgrade during that period.

Very nice. Again would look better without the massive logo, but still looks nice. Bank of Scotland definitely coming out with some nice designs.

The big logo doesnt bother me, but would be nice to see what it would look like without! Now just need to find out what the siver account card design.

Hopefully they update their website with the new designs soon. I think these cards, along with Santander, are easily the best new cards in years.

Definitely! The app still has the old designs aswell, should be updated soon.

Without the logo it’s just another ‘shed’ equivalent.

…though on reflection, make the logo transparent spot varnish and you’ve got yourself a :ok_hand:

It’s a good idea to use whitescreen when shooting transparent cards…

I’ve tried several different methods over the years, but I keep going back to the following:

Barclays - Main personal account. Had it since being a student and have built up a large overdraft facility and have barclays card as well with a decent capacity. I also have several saving accounts as well which I find in someways more useful that monzo pots as they have account numbers which means others can deposit money into them directly and I never mix it with mycirre t a pint account cash. As much as I want to change sometimes, just for the novelty really, the fact I have all these in one place is just easy for me.
Lloyds - Main joint account. My wife and I each kept our original personal accounts and get paid into those and have setup sta ding orders and direct debits to go out on the first of each month. This means that whatever is left in our personal accounts after the first is general fun money.

What i have found particularly useful a out this approach over transferring spending money to monzo is it doesn’t require me to log in to do so. I didn’t find setting up a standing order worked either as the amount I have as spending money each month can and does vary.

Finally I do have a personal and joint monzoy wife and I do use the joint monzo for food shopping so money does go into this each month for that.
