Well just tried and didn’t work. Realised I got £20 on SumUp Pay by someone using my referral code. Thank you stranger!
Huh I thought you could … I have vague memories of having done it before, but maybe I’m wrong or back then I could.

Thanks, indeed just checked with Amex chat and they confirmed I’d still get the free year.
Looks like there’s £70 cashback at the moment through Top Cashback, so will try via that route!
Looks really nice with transparent plastic (though the fact that this card is upside down really really annoys me)
They look great!
I’d totally trust Brian Butterfield with my money.
Guessing not many of us would qualify for this one.
Not as bad as you might think. From looking at the website it says you need daily balance of at least £3,500.
I mean, it’s clearly not designed for normal people but that’s not the most costly one of these I’ve seen by far.
I have my only 4 cards I think I’ll ever need. Also a good idea to have one of each type of payment network just in case they crash like Barclays Bank did a few week ago.
Amex - American Express own System
Monzo & Flex - Mastercard Network
Jaja - Visa Network
No lions alas
Just found on this Barclaycard that Visa logo and the card number are not equally spaced-up from the bottom of the card. Now I cannot unsee that. The card number seems to be lower than the Visa logo and not in line.
That’s funny. The TSB Apple Pay image also has an out-of-scale (much too big) Visa logo.
Amazon World Mastercard by Sumitomo Mitsui Card
Sumishin SBI Bank World Debit Mastercard
APA Bank Debit Mastercard issued in Cambodia
Got my replacement with delivery charge refunded as my OCD cannot accept the slanted magstripe. ![]()
Haha do not blame you lol- got mine through a few days ago and can confirm it is all lined up straight so yours must’ve been a bad batch ![]()
Been lurking on this thread and Part 1 for a while now so may as well post my own that I don’t think has been posted yet- the new Bank of Ireland debit card that’s apparently made from 84% bio-sourced materials like corn ![]()
I would’ve had that activation sticker off by now but it’s my mother back in Ireland looking after the card, she never takes them off lol
edit: a link to an article about the card change including the raw designs if anybody is interested! Bank of Ireland rolls out bio-sourced debit and credit cards
Is that a Irish Account or their UK Account?
Irish account; had it open while I lived over there, never closed it down as it’s handy for when I travel to Europe or back to Ireland for a couple of months at a time. Pay €6 a month for the privilege mind but it is what it is.
@jo Aye I know, looks awful when using chip and PIN lol, Google Pay image is still the old card too, believe these ones have been out for nearly 3 years now- Ireland isn’t quick on changing things hahaha, drives my card OCD crazy
Is that Flex Basic i see?
