Collected Thoughts on Card Design (Part 2)

I’m still sad mine expired :frowning:

I’m not sure what it is so will do by best to describe it, you sometimes get like holographic square stickers that are usually stuck on really well to item boxes and stuff, but it reminds me of that

(I have probably just made myself sound like an idiot)

I did have this, they brought it back for a while, its only in the last few years its been updated, I loved mine however I found the blue square would get scuffed and scratched and wear off in parts so felt scruffy for an Amex.

Right now I’d quite like this, which will never happen.
I like the landscape, and the red core.

Unless you got £500K sitting around

Anyone here ever took the risk with sending their card to one of these many companies that claim to put your details on a new chip and metal card design of your choice? I’m not thinking of doing it but if anyones got a card like that, would be cool to see

Haha unfortunately mines the all black version which you’ve seen previously.

I prefer minimalist designs. Sure, I’ll send you a cheque, it won’t bounce I promise.

I’ve seen people say they’ve got it with £100-150K spending a year.

It reminds me a bit of the ‘It’s a Sony’ sticker they used to slap on everything in the 80s:

Has this image just not been updated or are Monzo issuing cards with Investor on the front again?

I think the image hasn’t been updated - it’s a rare case of the in-app graphics not exactly matching the physical card.

My card is embossed and has the Investor text on the back, but shows as above in the app and on Google Pay.

My card is non-embossed and has the Investor text on the back, but it no longer displays Investor in Apple pay or the app.

just to add to the confusion, if I go to the card request page, it doesn’t show the Investor text on the front.

Does it say investor on the Apple Pay version?

Mine does not. It used to.

The HSBC Privé card looks very, very good
