Me too! You get used to the noise though.
Ooo love the blue. Is the free cinema ticket actually free or is there a card fee to pay too?
The Vue ticket is free to use and no card fees.
No fee. If you cancel in the first month, you will still be charged £5 for the card + £1 if you use cinema ticket.
If you cancel within a year, you will be charged a proportion of £25 if you claim the Railcard (depending on how many months you were subbed).
I think they were referring to when booking the cinema ticket.
Ah oops lol
Thanks. Just ordered the new card. Also can you have the cinema ticket and Greggs in one week or is it just limited to one a week?
Greggs is weekly cinema ticket is monthly.
Everyone’s card collection is so good.
@Not and other UHNW members are confident and brave posting their card collection here. I’m not as confident and brave showing my card collection for safety reasons.
@jo your card collection is massive.
I expect you got legal and accounting advice before opening 36 accounts all over the world.
You’re such a young age that not doing the right paperwork can be destructive.
Why risk tax evasion investigations, fines for not doing tax assessments, criminal convictions and cifas markers.
You’ll end up with being refused accounts, visas to enter countries, security clearances and credit checked financial jobs.
Your credit reports forgets. Financial companies don’t forget.
It’s tiny compared to what some people on here must have. I only have current generation cards for my accounts, whereas others will have cards going back several designs.
I can’t decide if the Nationwide Member Credit Card is beige and ugly, or tastefully plain. We’ll see when the physical card arrives I suppose.
More like chalk
How have you managed to keep yours so pristine :0
Mine has sadly discoloured
Other members have built up their card collection over the past decade.
You have quickly built your collection either to show off here or for fun. It can look concerning to see a university student open up personal and business accounts in a short time without real purpose.
Financial and fun don’t mix. It only takes one of the banks or tax authorities to investigate and that is it. I have read what @Dan5 wrote and banks are very cautious and KYC and AML checks are on the increase.
@jo I’m not picking on you.
As a new member I read the forum a lot and it became clear to me you were doing a lot of financial activities outside of the norm which was concerning from an outside standpoint.
Given your name, location and accounts are on here it doesn’t look good to employers and banks and tax authorities what you are up to.
Be safe out there. Your young once and you can read the many stories on here of young people being caught up with cifas markers. That is 6 years of your life gone if that happens.
Focus on your degree and built up your collection slowly and learn from others to manage your finances.
The Visa logo on the real thing is the brightest shade of blue imaginable. It shouts VISA! every time you look at it.
Goes quite nicely with the FlexPlus card though (I briefly had both).
