Collected Thoughts on Card Design (Part 2)

I agree, but they’re more concerned with making their beautiful logo shine in full :joy:

Meh. Wish it had the silver Visa logo the (inexplicably named) ‘Platinum’ has. I don’t hate it though, the Barclaycard logo is polished and the rest is matt.

Anyone who ordered the chrome card, and used it out in the wild, how does it hold up?

Very nice! I fear that it might be a little bit too much work for me to acquire one for the collection. But it’s very nice to see that there are different business designs in the modern style, and I presume there are others for different account types.

I’ve been doing all my spending on Zilch for the 0.5% uncapped cashback and they offered me a physical card.

I think it looks really nice!!

Plus it’s got a nice looking rainbow centre

I daisy chain mine with Curve. £4.99 for the physical card isn’t for me but I can see the appeal for certain use cases.

Does Zilch show up as a BNPL product on the credit agencies?

Shows up as a line of credit

i got free trial of there plus get card for free be for trail runs out i will cancel the plus and get to keep the card

Ah yeah I saw that offer and ignored it as my phone is normally where I am so I had no need for the card.

im so lucky i made 11p lol cause i got plus

I’ve realised I’ve not used a physical card unless I had to (checking in into hotels) for a long while now. My Apple wallet has fully replaced my physical wallet, including loyalty cards, train tickets, boarding passes, gym cards, etc. I keep an identity card in my phone’s case.

Not quite sure how I feel about this (the reliance on my phone) but it’s nice to not fear misplacing my wallet

Looks I am not alone in this stacking game.

I’m the same, no wallet for years now.

That is a bonkers amount of cards though

Not sure that you still need the physical card to check-in to most hotels these days, maybe hiring a car.

Yay! Lol

I was in a hotel recently where one receptionist was telling people they’d need a physical card for a hold, but the other receptionist didn’t care and I had no problem using my virtual Flex card on Google Pay.
