CIFAS mark

Will I get rejected if I have a CIFAS marker? I’ve done some stupid stuff in the past which got me kicked off Santander a while ago. but I really hope I can get an account with Monzo it seems really good. Will I be okay if I get a basic one? Thank you

Monzo do not do a “basic” account, that you could get with a CIFAS.

You can only find out if Monzo will accept you by applying. If they reject you, try one of the banks that offer the basic accounts.

Monzo rejected. Applied for a basic current account with TSB online. If they don’t work then I’m gonna apply to Nationwide in branch and bring the sob story

Nationwide comes with a contactless card at least. And Apple/Google Pay.

HSBC are doing a big drive for giving homeless and other vulnerable situations a bank account so maybe speak to them as well.
