Chase UK Chat (Part 2)

Anyone else’s Chase credit card disappeared from their app? :man_shrugging:

Mine’s there.

My app is still pretending that no such product exists, except for a “we’re releasing our credit card in stages” if I search for it in the support section.

Mines still there

Support could not resolve it, so I’ve raised a complaint as obviously cannot see my balance at all :man_shrugging:

Strangely though, the transactions appear in All Activity feed, identifiable by the “This transaction doesn’t earn cashback” note.

I cannot help but grin/grimace, every month I receive this email from Chase on how to view my statements :joy:

Basically,
on your phone - tap here, kinda thing.

On your computer? - get off the damn thing and go to your phone, fool! :man_facepalming:

Finally added some new categories.

Still believe the option to remove things like Transfers should be available.

The whole thing is useless without a transfer category. Chase wants me to believe I spend five figures a month

It does have Transfers but they don’t exclude in the way we would expect.

Actually only Natwest (and probably Monzo/Starling) handle this ‘properly’ - there may be others.

HSBC, FD, Lloyds and evidently Chase handle it as spend - meaning my ‘Spent this month’ is never right.

So my expectation is they actually wont exclude them, unless it’s a bank that I know does.

Revolut gives you a toggle on every transaction to exclude once or always.

Monzo analytics is the best of all banks so far, especially when assigning inbound payments to transactions.

Revolut does this in an unusual way by means of excluding an amount from analytics, unless it’s a bill split within the app/payment link.

Most of which do not qualify for cashback, so why would you use their debit card? :person_shrugging:

It defaults my Transfers to Expenses.

Gave up trying to get it right as don’t really use the budget side of the account.

Expenses over Transfers feels more like business account activity.

It is simply me moving money into accounts in my name.

Definitely not a business lol

No I know, I just meant from the Chase design.

I really wish all banks did this.

Passport?

You been naughty to give away your licence? :grimacing:

Passport should just hold flat.

I’ve got like 10 driving licences about, never had a fine :joy:
