Paypal? Gift card? Back then when I did this I gave out gift cards for that value. No personal information exchanged.
No, 4 PayPal payments and one Amazon gift card.

Yes but then they’d get it when you actually transferred the money over.
Anyway it was done via PayPal they said so no issues!
I don’t think any of my banks show the account details of the sender for bank transfers. Just name and reference.
Agree PayPal or similar is a better choice though. Annoyed I didn’t think of offering a bribe, no one used my referrals!

To be fair, what’s a random person going to do with my sort code, account number and name? Setup a direct debit maybe… pay me money…
While I try not to, I’ve paid people by bank transfer before.
I’m more sceptical about receiving payments into my bank as people can report them as fraudulent which would cause a headache.
You can still get rid of your Chase codes by offering £10, although you may want to go to £15, as you’ll see on the Chase subreddit others have jumped on the payment initiative now. 
I can’t see the referral codes in my Chase app anymore. Has the promotion ended?
Mines under Rewards now rather than the main screen.

Not from most bank accounts, they wouldn’t. Starling shows the bank details for incoming payments, but only if the payment comes from one of your saved payees, not otherwise.
I don’t know of any other bank that shows the bank details for incoming payments.
While I can see the allure of offering the bribe to get the referral money. The fact that they are already getting £50 makes me a bit loath to offer a bribe on top of the bribe…
Supply and demand. Gotta make your referral codes stand out in a sea of codes

Search Chase £50 and see where others are posting. Expect to get banned or warnings from some sub-reddits.
I’ve still got two and I cannot give them away for love nor money.
Back when my wife’s codes were given, people were bombarding me with messages to have one.
I have 3 + 4 remaining . I would happily give them away to anyone.
I’d happily take a code. Shame I ain’t allowed to join tho
