I’m quite curious to see what their DIY investment platform will look like. All they say is “offering investors the ability to buy and sell their own shares, bonds, funds and other asset classes”.
Guess they want to compete with other trading platforms. Probably not with T212, etc. but probably with HL, etc.
If it does what I need and there’s a good offer to switch, I would do it.
Just had an email from Chase, they’re increasing my credit limit for my credit card from 10k to 12.05k from the 6th of December. I’ve not used it for spending since the beginning of the year
Are they doing the odd limits with a view to giving us mere mortals a bit of float before going over the limit? Sort of half makes sense if you think of it like that.
Looking at my Monzo app, and then going to something like Nationwide is like going 20 years back… it’s so much nicer and easier to look at transactions when the logos are there (IMHO).
As for statements, you mean the monthly ones? Last time I had to look at one was 5 years ago when I had to PDF one to send for our mortgage application. They may still be useful for proof of address and archiving but does anyone actually look at them instead of a live transaction screen?
It’s the inconsistency that is the main issue for me - either they support logos and include timely updates and corrections or they just give up and do away with them all completely. Now there’s this weird halfway house where logo updates seem to have stopped at a certain point in time and aren’t being touched at all.
