What happens with your card details in the Chase app when they expire, do you get the same card number with just a different date? Curious as I use the card to pay for some subscriptions.

When the subs call from the old card, most banks will pass on the new details in terms of expired replacements.

Having said that, I’m not sure the virtual details you see in the app change at all, as the physical has its own hidden number you don’t use anywhere.

My card number remained the same, just new expiry. Can’t remember if CVV changed.

Am I missing something, or can you not see the account details of payments you make?

E.g. I make a payment to myself, so I have a payee of my name, but how do I see the account number it went to?

You don’t, it’s just the name you have it saved as. Don’t think any of the other banking apps I have other than Monzo show the account details either.

Thanks. My Starling app shows the account number/sort code for my payments, will have to check some others.

That’s why I use the reference field to indicate account used

On the latest Chase iOS app version, if I click my debit card and then ‘Add to Apple Wallet’ button, it freezes on a white screen.

Can anyone confirm if it works for them so I know whether it’s Chase or my app. Tried force closing, restarting phone etc.

Edit - even adding the card number manually and approving in the chase app doesn’t work.

I’m now setting up my standing orders again…

Can confirm same for me. Unable to add the card to Apple Wallet.

Card number stays the same. The expiry date and CVV changes.

Not sure what’s going on. A family member just tried to pay me from their Chase account and got a message along the lines of ‘Cannot make payment’.

I cannot add my card to Apple Pay but just did a bank transfer and it went through.

Very odd.

They’re having issues with payments at the moment.

Swear Chase have issues every other week.
