So can pay £750 in one go at a post office and be charged £1 total? I was in a post office to do this last month and they charged £3, said they had to do 3 deposits, 2x £300, 1X150. They said £750 could not be paid in one go for £1.
I paid in £700 in one go a few weeks back.
You can pay in up to £750 at once now. There’s still the £1 fee per deposit, unless you’re on Perks/Max/Max with Family, in which case you get 3x fee-free deposits per calendar month, with additional deposits in the same month being £1/deposit.
Deposit £100 today and was there same 2 seconds. Was impressed.
I did want to try Chase and see if that works behind the scenes but didn’t have my card.
I recently did the same.
£750 on the 31st Jan & £680 the next day on the 1st Feb. Both instant. Also TSB was instant with £1500
